Beginning May 2, 2014 around 6 p.m., over 50,000 visitors will line the Pigeon Forge Parkway to catch a glimpse of their Smoky Mountain idol, Dolly Parton. As the most popular parade in the area, the annual Dolly Parade in Pigeon Forge is guaranteed to be a big hit once again this year!

Directions to the Dolly Parade

The parade begins on River Road (near traffic light #7) and will end at traffic light #3 in Pigeon Forge. There is no cost to attend this event, and all activities and entertainment are completely free to every visitor.

Traffic Alert

If you’re traveling through the area during the early evening on May 2, expect to encounter a good amount of traffic. The northbound lanes of traffic are closed for the parade, and traffic is directed to the southbound lanes. The congestion should only last until around 8 p.m. on May 2.
