2. Stunning River Views

Many of our rooms have private balconies overlooking the river. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening, you can relax on your balcony with your favorite snack or beverage and watch the water flow by. We also have a large patio by the river, if you want to get even closer to the water.

Rooms at our Great Smoky Mountain hotel come with convenient features such as in-room coffee makers, free WiFi, hair dryers, and mini fridges. If you really want to treat yourself, choose one of our rooms with a Jacuzzi or fireplace. We have a variety of options, including family and honeymoon mini suites.

4. Hotel Amenities

Unlike some hotels, we encourage our guests to spend time in the lobby! You will find complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. We also offer Southern style sweet tea daily from 2 to 10 p.m and freshly popped popcorn in the evenings. The Inn on the River also offers a 24 hour business center for guests who need to fax, copy, or print something.

If you enjoy going for a swim, you will have a choice of two pools. When it’s warm out, the outdoor pool by the river is always fun. Here you can enjoy amazing views as you swim in or lounge by the pool. This is a great way to cool off after a morning of exploring the area or hiking in the mountains. If it’s on the chilly side, you can still enjoy an afternoon at our heated indoor pool and hot tub. Whatever you do, don’t forget to bring your swimsuit on vacation!

6. Vacation Starter Kits for Kids

It can be a challenge for parents to keep their kids busy and entertained on vacation. Activities that might be fun for adults are not necessarily going to keep the kids from getting bored and restless. That’s why we provide families with Vacation Starter Kits, designed especially for kids 10 or younger. Included in our kits are fun item such as a jump rope, Beanie Baby, stickers, a deck of cards, a yo-yo, and a rubber duck. Additionally, The Inn on the River has a special Kid Zone in our lobby, where kids can play with blocks, read, or play board games.
