1. Visit The Mountain Mile

If you’re up for the thrill, take on the Mountain Monster, which features 3 different rides that are sure to make your stomach drop. After your ride, explore the shops at the complex, from a toy store, to a coffee shop, to a candy shop. Taste some of the best cinnamon rolls at Cinnaholic, grab a bite to eat and sample moonshine at Junction 35, or do a wine tasting at Currahee Vineyards. In 2022, the Mountain Mile will welcome Downtown Flavortown and Azul Cantina, which will add more dining options and plenty of fun. This is definitely a spot you don’t want to miss!

2. Take a Carriage Ride

The horse-drawn carriage ride takes place near Lumberjack Square. Enjoy the peaceful ride in downtown Pigeon Forge before getting out and exploring some of the best shops and restaurants nearby!

3. Explore Parrot Mountain

This one-of-a-kind attraction is open March through December, so if you visit during those months, it should be at the top of your list. Follow the rainbow to Parrot Mountain, where you’ll find hundreds of beautiful tropical birds and thousands of flowers, plants and trees. You can even stop in the bird garden to feed them right from your hand and have pictures taken with them! There is also a baby bird nursery, where visitors can pet the baby birds and even purchase one to take back home. There is plenty of opportunity for pictures, interactions with the birds and more at Parrot Mountain.

4. Feed Goats on a Roof

Have you ever had the chance to feed a goat before? What about feeding goats on a roof? At Goats on the Roof, you can do just that. Visitors can purchase a can of goat chow and hop on the goat-cycle, taking the can of goat feed to the top of the roof. This attraction is also home to the Coaster at Goats on the Roof, which is nearly a mile long and reaches speeds up to 30 miles per hour. Afterward, be sure to go gem mining or grab a souvenir from the gift shop.

5. Shop at the Smoky Mountain Cat House

The store features all the needs and wants for your cats, from treats to toys, and also serves as a place where you can pet and play with a cat when you’re missing yours back home! Visit the Smoky Mountain Cat House to shop cat collections, apparel, decor and more.

6. Dine at the Pottery House Cafe in Pigeon Forge

Pottery House Cafe is loved by locals, and it’s not hard to figure out why. Located in The Old Mill Square, this restaurant offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the popular Old Mill Restaurant. It’s known for its freshly made sandwiches, salads, and hearty entrees. Some favorite dishes are Signature Quiche Plates, Ole Forge’s Pecan Fried Chicken, and steak. When you visit here, the key is to save room for dessert! Pottery House has an incredible selection of homemade desserts, with slices big enough to share. We recommend the coconut cream pie or the chocolate cake.

7. Go Zorbing at Outdoor Gravity Park

Ten gallons of water are added to an 11-foot inflatable ball; then, you’ll climb inside and roll down the 1,000 foot hill! Up to 3 people can slip and slide in a tube together, so you can enjoy the unforgettable experience with your friends or family members. There are 3 tracks to choose from: the Extreme Zig Zag, Fast Tracks, and Funnel. The Extreme Zip Zag course is for those looking for the ultimate adventure, Fast Tracks is for those who have a need for speed, and Funnel is for those who want a combination of the two.
