There are a lot of restaurants in Pigeon Forge that serve up great food and atmosphere. The following is a list of the best restaurants in Pigeon Forge to eat while you are on your vacation.

Two restaurants worth mentioning are located inside the Old Mill Square. The Old Mill Square is a very popular destination, where you can enjoy a picturesque setting with lovely specialty shops, including an ice cream parlor and a candy store.

The first is the Old Mill Restaurant located inside the Old Mill Building. This restaurant serves up southern classics, like fried chicken and corn chowder. Portion sizes are quite large, and a dessert is included with the meal.

The second is the The Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grille. This restaurant boasts indoor and outdoor seating areas. It is very popular with the locals, so you should expect a small wait time before being seated. The restaurant serves American style foods including steak, fresh seafood and steak. You can also get fresh bread here made from the grains ground inside the Old Mill.

If you are in the mood for pancakes, check out the Log Cabin Pancake House. Here you can find all kinds of pancake creations, like sliced apple pancakes topped with powdered sugar, Caribbean pancakes with bananas, nuts, shredded coconut and powdered sugar and buckwheat pancakes topped with honey. Other breakfast classics like eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy are also available. The Log Cabin Pancake House also serves an all you can eat buffet-style lunch during the week.

Located between Pigeon Forge and Sevierville is the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. The country atmosphere and fresh apple fritters are worth the extra five-minute drive just outside of Pigeon Forge. The restaurant specializes in southern style fare, with appetizers including apple fritters, apple butter and apple cider served on the house. The staff are decked out in full country attire including the long polka-dot dresses and white aprons. After you eat, you can enjoy shopping in the Christmas shop or pick up a bottle of wine from the wine store.
