Dollywood Celebrates Fall with Harvest Festival
When you visit the Smoky Mountains, you are probably going to plan to spend a day or two at Dollywood. From October 2 to November 2, the Dollywood attraction in Pigeon Forge is showcasing the National Southern Gospel and Harvest Celebration.
When you enter the amusement park, you will be greeted with colorful harvest decorations and beautiful fall leaves on all of the surrounding trees. The celebration is occurring at the perfect time for families to experience the fall colors of the Smokies.
Many craftsmen have made their way to the mountains to celebrate the festival with locals and visitors. As you wander through the park, you can stop at the numerous craft tables and talk to the artists as they work on their projects.
With unique arts and crafts like banjo making and handmade historic games, everyone should be able to find a souvenir to remember their trip to the Smokies. Whether you’re looking for woodworkings, jewelry, woven masterpieces or paintings, you’ll be able to find it at Dollywood during the celebration!
Also during the harvest festival, there will be free Southern Gospel music concerts. The park will be in operation, so families will also be able to ride the roller coasters and see the mountains from above the park!
