The Inn on the River is a special hotel for many reasons, including it is one of the few hotels in Pigeon Forge located on the river. 1. It didn’t start out as the Inn on the River.

Believe it or not, our Pigeon Forge hotel started out as a franchise in a chain of popular hotels. Almost 20 years later, three local businessmen purchased the hotel and renamed it. The name it received then was short-lived as the owners wanted to give the hotel its own unique identity. That was when it became the Inn on the River as it is known today.

2. It’s on the city’s trolley route.

If you are looking for a Pigeon Forge hotel that is convenient to all of the best places to eat, shop, and stay entertained, the Inn on the River is an excellent choice. Not only is it located on the parkway right in the middle of everything, but it is also on the city’s trolley route. This means that you can enjoy your entire vacation without having to drive. You can use the city’s trolley to navigate around Pigeon Forge, and the best part is that it is budget-friendly.

3. It has been upgraded to be more environmentally green.

Recently, the hotel has made many upgrades to almost all areas within it. Every room at the Inn on the River is equipped with energy-efficient lighting to save electricity. It also has a brand new roof, recycling system, guest room cooling and heating units, and additional landscaping. It has been given the Bronze award for Greenleaders by Tripadvisor.

4. It has a meeting room for special events.

Our Pigeon Forge hotel features a 24’ by 25’ meeting room where any event can be held.  The meeting room includes a wet bar, bathroom, and storage, perfect additions for a special occasion. Some examples of events held in the meeting room include wedding receptions, sports banquets, family reunions, and corporate outings.

We know how hard it can be if you forget to travel with your charger, so we made it more convenient for you by adding our charging station to the lobby.

7. All rooms have a Keurig coffee maker.

Rather than providing you with an original plain coffee maker, we decided to upgrade all coffee makers in every room to a Keurig. Instead of having to pour coffee grinds into the top of your maker, all you have to do is pop in a Keurig cup and add water. A nice aspect of the Keurig is that it doesn’t just make coffee. There are cups available for tea, hot chocolate, espresso, and more.
