Pigeon Forge Winterfest 2011

From November 8, 2011 to February 26, 2012, the city of Pigeon Forge, in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, celebrates the Pigeon Forge Winterfest with entertainment, activities, delicious food and millions of energy efficient lights to create an enchanting wonderland for visitors from all over the country during the cold winter months.

In the mid 80s, Pigeon Forge’s city officials started with a few light displays and grew each year to the spectacular four month event they present today. The light shows get more fascinating each year and visitors can take a trolley where a guide to the city will point out not only all the light displays, but also the city’s historical landmarks and many shops that are participating in the fun by offering bargain prices for everyone.
